To briefly introduce myself, I’m Martina Nelson.
Having personally owned a middle-sized engineering and general construction business with my husband for over 14 years, I assisted primarily through navigating the accounting systems we used.  I thoroughly understand the layers of concerns and challenges you, the business owner, face on a daily basis.

During this time, I also served as a private educator pulling from my own education and experience by hosting honors/AP chemistry classes for high school and networking with other independent educators. Through a private school we successfully helped educate over one thousand students each year in K-12. It was a lot of fun and I know we made a significant difference in these kids’ lives. 

When my husband passed away unexpectedly, I raised our four kids as a single mom and decided it was time to put the white coat back on. I taught college for a brief time and then stepped into full-time medical diagnostic manufacturing and research for a total of nine plus years, followed by a returned focus into small-business financial accounting over the past many years.
